Fiber optics and their use in telecommunications and business connectivity applications, is rapidly increasing. The connection speeds rise, while at the same time businesses need new ways to gather all their communicational systems into one, unified and directly manageable platform.
Looking ahead to that need, even in its early days, ComboTech created a specialized Fiber Optics Department, staffed by experienced professionals, which now constitutes its cornerstone.

ComboTech‘s Fiber Optics team undertakes and carries out the project in all its aspects, from the preliminary study and the licensing, to the certification of the end result, always according to customer’s requests.
Specifically, the ComboTech Fiber Optics Department, using its highly trained personnel and high-end equipment (splicers, OTDR, power meters) undertakes:
- Studies for Fiber Optics installations works
- Digging, excavating and levelling works, applying the most modern techniques
- Trenching up to extremely limited width (“mini-trenching”)
- Provision and installation of wiring, with “blown fiber» technique, thus rapidly minimizing installation time, while maintaining a high level of quality in the overall result
- Fiber termination and connection to the carrier/client terminal
- Certification of the result
